Levels of Protection in Automotive Armoring

Vehicle armor is classified according to its ballistic resistance against different calibers and types of projectiles. Each level of protection is designed to mitigate specific threats, meeting international ballistic testing standards.

At Ballistic Technology we work under certified technical parameters that guarantee comprehensive structural protection of the vehicle.

Level I
Discreet Protection

Protects against:

  • Low caliber handguns (.22, .25)

Typical use:

  • Low profile

It is a light and uncommon armor plating nowadays because it offers limited protection against current threats.

Level II
Basic Urban Protection
