Foundation and Innovation in Lightweight Security
Our story begins in 1993 under the name Protection Technology, in a 300 m² premises. From the beginning, we developed innovative security solutions, standing out with the Protection Technology Anti-Robbery System, considered at the time a lightweight and advanced alternative to traditional armor plating.
This milestone marked the beginning of our participation in the evolution of armor plating in Colombia.
In 1995 we formally entered the automotive armoring business as Ballistic Technology SA, positioning ourselves as a leading vehicle armoring company in Colombia

Thanks to the human qualities of our team and the loyalty of our clients, we have established ourselves as one of the emblematic companies in the ballistic protection sector.
Consolidation in Automotive Armoring
Armored Glass Manufacturing Plant
In 1997 we installed our armored glass production plant, allowing us to integrate our own manufacturing processes and guarantee quality control at every stage.
Our industrial capacity allowed us not only to supply our internal production of automotive armor, but also to meet the national and international demand for certified armored glass.
This step strengthened our vertical integration and technological capacity.
Later, we expanded vehicle armoring operations in Mexico with our own plant, recognized as one of the most important in the country.
Simultaneously, we implemented the business model in Cúcuta to serve the Venezuelan market, consolidating our regional presence in ballistic protection solutions.

Professionalization and Manufacturing Standards
We have trained and professionalized more than 120 specialists in automotive armoring under strict manufacturing, quality and safety standards.
Furthermore, we established strategic alliances with world-renowned suppliers such as DuPont and Sika Colombia SA, incorporating high-performance raw materials and advanced technology into our armoring and armored glass manufacturing processes.
